Siblings: a question and answer discussion time for you....to share the joys and challenges of having a sibling with a disability. The information discussed, the questions asked in this session will be confidential. The participation of older sibs would be so appreciated. Your wisdom and experience would so help mentor the younger attendees who may have questions that can best be answered by you.
Sexuality,Health and Hygiene
A Q and A session where you can ask all the questions that cause us such fear....and are ignored until there is a crisis.Discussion will revolve around sexuality, puberty, boundaries, health and hygiene and is relevant for all age levels. A handout will be sent to you after the cruise with further information to help with being proactive throughout the lifespan and to teach independence, safety and appropriateness. It also includes educational strategies that support success and a resource list of some of the many materials available for both parents and professionals.
